Online poker room PKR has joined forces with Matchroom Sport to host a live event in October. The event, dubbed the inaugural PKR Heads-Up Grand Slam, will be held in London from October 8-10, 2009. The event will be a deep stack event, which favors players of greater skill than dependency on luck, and some big name pros are on the schedule to play already. Players can expect to run into pros like Annette Obrestad, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Vicky Coren ,JC Tran, Andrew Feldman and Tom “Durrrr” Dwan.
