UB is set to become the center of the online poker universe one week from Wednesday with the start of the fifth edition of its UB Online Championship series.
Running Aug. 18-29, the UBOC5 line-up consists of 20 guaranteed online poker events including the massive $1000+$50 buy-in $1 million Guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Championship scheduled to end the series Aug. 29.
Plus, a Mini-UBOC schedule will mirror all 20 UBOC events with buy-ins at a fraction of the price.
Each event throughout the series will be hosted by a Team UB pro. Tournaments will be held in a variety of games including No-Limit Hold’em, H.O.R.S.E., Pot-Limit Omaha, 8-Game, Six-Max, Heads-Up and more.
“With the WSOP on hiatus until November, poker players don’t have to look far to get their big series fix,” said Annie Duke, UB’s Cardroom Consultant.
“UBOC5 is really shaping up to be UB’s best online poker series yet, offering the excitement of a major land-based event no matter what your bankroll is.”
The 12-day schedule is expected to attract the best online poker players from across the globe.
